Making Madder Lake
| After the filter paper has finished dripping, you may lift it out of the funnel and open it up onto a cookie or cake cooler or a pizza tray, anything that will allow the filter paper and the lake to dry. Do not put it into the sun to hurry it up. But you may put a gentle fan nearby and this will speed up the de-hydration process a lot. I say gentle, and nearby, because the resulting tiny pieces of completely dried lake are so light that they are very easily blown away. | |||||||||||
